Etosha Safari Lodge is located just outside the southern boundary of Etosha National Park, set on a gentle rise above the surrounding mopane bushveld. Built on a hillside near Andersson’s Gate, the lodge offers wide views of the landscape and its small artificial waterhole, where animals such as kudu, giraffe, impala, and sometimes elephants come to drink.

Guests who arrive early can enter the park through Andersson’s Gate in the morning and return in the late afternoon to watch animals visiting the lodge’s waterhole. While the lodge is simpler than some luxury options, it offers a good balance of comfort, friendly service, and easy access to Etosha National Park without being overly formal. This makes it a convenient and pleasant choice for travellers wanting both relaxation and a close connection to the park.
