In Namibia, Etosha National Park is one of the most important tourist attractions and a dream destination for safari lovers. Camps such as Halali, Okaukuejo, and Namutoni have floodlit waterholes where visitors can safely watch animals drinking after dark.
Birdwatching is another popular activity. The park has more than 340 bird species, including raptors, owls, ostriches, and colourful bee-eaters. Summer months from November to March are especially good for birding, as migrant species arrive and the pans fill with water, drawing large flocks of flamingos and pelicans.
In addition to wildlife activities, rest camps such as Halali, Namutoni, and Dolomite offer comfortable accommodation and facilities. These camps have shops, restaurants, and swimming pools, making them great places to relax between game drives and adding to the overall experience of visiting Etosha.
