Etosha is Namibia’s top attraction and one of the largest game parks in the world. It stretches more than 350 km from east to west and covers 22,270 square kilometers.
Its open plains, many waterholes, and large number of animals make every visit rewarding.
Day 1: Windhoek to Etosha National Park
You will be picked up from your hotel or guesthouse in Windhoek and driven to Etosha National Park, Namibia’s most famous wildlife area. The park is home to lions, zebras, oryx, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, and many more animals.
In the afternoon, you will go on a game drive to waterholes where you may see predators, zebras, giraffes, elephants, rhinos, and other wildlife before sunset.
Afterward, you will check in at Okaukuejo Resort, settle into your room, and enjoy dinner.
Day 2: Etosha National Park
After breakfast, you will join a morning game drive to look for more animals.
Later, you will visit the Etosha Pan, also called the Great White Place, a vast 4,500 sq km salt pan where you can step out briefly before continuing your game drive.
You will return to the resort for lunch, with time to relax or swim in the pool. In the afternoon, you will go on another game drive, visiting more waterholes before leaving the park at sunset. Dinner and overnight will be at the resort.
Day 3: Etosha National Park to Windhoek
After breakfast, you will drive back to Windhoek. On the way, you will stop at the open market in Okahandja to shop for souvenirs.
You will then be dropped off at your hotel in Windhoek, where you will say goodbye to your guide.
