This 6-day Etosha, Coast, and Sossusvlei guided camping safari takes you to see wildlife, unique landscapes, and the oldest desert in Africa.
In Etosha National Park, you will go on game drives to see animals such as elephants, hippos, giraffes, and lions.
In Swakopmund, you will enjoy quad biking and sandboarding. You will then continue to Sossusvlei to explore the desert and visit Deadvlei, Big Daddy, Sesriem, Dune 45, and Sossusvlei itself.
Day 1: Windhoek to Etosha National Park
In the morning, you will be picked up at 9:00 am to travel north. On the way, the guide will stop at the Craft Center in Okahandja, then continue to Otjiwarongo, where you can buy lunch at the shopping center.
You will then drive to Etosha National Park. In the afternoon, you will go on a game drive before returning to camp. The evening will be at leisure.
Day 2: Etosha National Park
After an early breakfast, you will join a morning game drive. You may see predators hunting and visit several waterholes. Lunch will be along the way.
When you return, your guide will prepare dinner on an open campfire while you freshen up. After dinner, you can sit near the waterhole to watch wildlife before resting for the night.
Day 3: Etosha National Park to Swakopmund
After breakfast, you will travel to Swakopmund on Namibia’s coast. This seaside town has wide streets, old buildings, and a cool sea breeze. It blends German and Namibian culture and offers many activities.
Your included activities are a museum visit, quad biking, sandboarding, and visiting the aquarium. Optional activities include a boat cruise, hot air balloon safari, desert tour, skydiving, and a visit to the Desert Living Museum.
Day 4: Swakopmund to Namib-Naukluft Park (Sossusvlei)
After breakfast, you will drive toward Sossusvlei, going deeper into the Namib Desert. Along the way, you will pass open farmlands and quiet rural areas.
In the evening, you will enjoy a sundowner at Elim Dune before overnight camping at Sesriem Campsite.
Day 5: Namib-Naukluft Park
You will wake up at 5:30 am and drive to Dune 45, where you will have breakfast and watch the sunrise over the dunes.
You will then continue to Sossusvlei, visiting Deadvlei, Hiddenvlei, and Big Daddy, stopping for photos along the way. You will return around lunchtime and have free time to relax at the pool.
Your activities today include a sundowner drive and a visit to Sossusvlei. Overnight will be at Sesriem Campsite.
Day 6: Departure
You will wake up at 8:00 am for breakfast, then pack up and drive back to Windhoek.
