Der Etosha Nationalpark hat breite Schotterstraßen, die teilweise sehr holprig sind und viele tiefe Schlaglöcher haben. Jetzt in der Regenzeit sind einige Straßen auch stellenweise überflutet. Trotzdem sind wir gut vorangekommen, auch ohne Off-Road-Erfahrung. Die internen Camps im Park wirken leider ziemlich veraltet und teilweise heruntergekommen. Der einzige wirkliche Vorteil ist, dass man dort an geführten Pirschfahrten teilnehmen kann. Dennoch würden wir persönlich empfehlen, außerhalb des Parks zu übernachten. Das Personal in den Camps wirkte auf uns oft gelangweilt und wenig interessiert, wodurch man sich nicht besonders willkommen fühlt. Auch die Kontrollen an den Gates erschienen uns teilweise sehr willkürlich, was leider eher ein Gefühl von Schikane vermittelt hat.Posted onTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
