Etosha Mountain Lodge – Luxury Safari Retreat in Etosha Heights Private Reserve

Etosha Mountain Lodge - Luxury Safari Retreat in Etosha Heights Private Reserve

Etosha Mountain Lodge is set on top of a dolomite hill in the exclusive Etosha Heights Private Reserve. It offers a quiet and comfortable experience away from the busier lodges inside Namibia’s national parks. The lodge is built in a circular style around a large thatched lapa, which serves as the main area for dining, sitting by the fire, or enjoying a drink while looking out over the plains.

Accommodation includes nine well-built chalets and one family suite, each designed for comfort and privacy. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with deep bathtubs and showers, shaded areas under leafy trees, and large wooden decks with wide views of the surrounding wilderness.

Guests can spend time by the swimming pool, look through the wine cellar, or browse the curio shop. The lodge combines comfort with peace in a classic safari setting.

Activities are an important part of a stay here. Guests can join early morning, afternoon, and night game drives to explore the private reserve, which is rich in wildlife and far from busy tourist areas. The reserve is known as one of the best places in Africa to see both black and white rhinos.

Expert guides also help guests search for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, antelope, and many bird species. Guided drives give visitors the chance to learn more about the animals and the land.

In the evenings, many guests gather at an elevated hide to watch wildlife come to drink while the sky changes colour at sunset. This peaceful setting, combined with excellent wildlife viewing and comfortable accommodation, makes Etosha Mountain Lodge a good choice for travellers looking to enjoy both nature and relaxation in a private reserve.
